Computer Science Engineering (AIML)
About Department
At Anjuman-I-Islam’s Kalsekar Technical Campus, School of Engineering & Technology, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) was established in 2023 in response to the growing global demand for AI and data-driven technologies. As a newly initiated and rapidly growing department, it is dedicated to equipping students with future-ready skills in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
The department currently offers an undergraduate program with an intake of 60 students, which will be increased to 120 from the academic year 2025, highlighting its popularity and the institution’s commitment to scaling advanced technology education.
CSE-AIML effectively implements the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) model, ensuring that students develop both a solid academic foundation and hands-on technical expertise that go beyond traditional syllabi. Students are exposed to real-world problem-solving through project-based learning, workshops, coding competitions, and internships.
As a growing department, it is equipped with modern laboratories, high-performance computing systems, and the latest AI/ML software tools. The department also encourages participation in intercollegiate events, hackathons, and AI innovation challenges while actively working to build strong academic-industry linkages. With a team of young, dedicated, and qualified faculty members, the department aims to emerge as a center of excellence in AI and Machine Learning education and research in the near future.
