Constitution of NEP Implementation Cell
Education is a fundamental human right and a cornerstone of economic and social progress.
Recognising its significance, the Government of India introduced the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, a comprehensive framework aimed at the holistic development of education in the country. NEP 2020 envisages the transformation of the Indian education system into one that is more inclusive, holistic, flexible, multidisciplinary, and aligned with the needs of the 21st century.
In pursuance of these objectives, the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 Implementation Cell has been constituted at Anjuman-I-Islam’s Kalsekar Technical Campus, School of Engineering and Technology, Panvel, to facilitate the effective implementation of NEP 2020 within the institute.

Objectives of the NEP Cell
1: Implementation of NEP Policies: To facilitate the effective implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 within the college campus.
2: Awareness and Advocacy: To raise awareness among students, faculty, and staff about the key provisions and objectives of NEP 2020 and advocate for its successful execution.
3: Policy Analysis and Feedback: To analyse the implications of NEP 2020 on the college's academic and administrative functions and provide constructive feedback to relevant authorities.
4: Curriculum Development and Review: To collaborate with academic departments in aligning the college curriculum with the principles and recommendations of NEP 2020, promoting interdisciplinary approaches and experiential learning.
5: Teacher Training and Development: To organize workshops, seminars, and training programs for faculty members to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to implement innovative pedagogical methods advocated by NEP 2020.
6: Student Engagement and Participation: To encourage student involvement in discussions and initiatives related to NEP 2020, fostering a culture of active citizenship and leadership in education reform.
7: Research and Innovation: To promote research activities focused on assessing the impact of NEP 2020 on the college education system and exploring innovative practices to enhance teaching-learning outcomes.
