
Anjuman-I-Islam’s Kalsekar Technical Campus, School of Engineering and Technology, is an autonomous institute established in 2011 as a Muslim Minority Institute under the aegis of Anjuman-I-Islam Trust, a 150-year-old charitable organisation. The Institute is located in New Panvel, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, recognised by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra, and affiliated with the University of Mumbai.
The School of Engineering and Technology is committed to providing quality technical education through a learner-centric academic environment supported by modern infrastructure, well-equipped laboratories, instructional facilities, and opportunities for research and innovation.
The Institute strives to develop technically competent, socially responsible, and industry-ready graduates by integrating academic learning with practical exposure, professional skills, innovation, and research-oriented activities.
At the undergraduate level, the Institute offers engineering programmes across seven disciplines: Civil Engineering with an intake of 30 students; Computer Engineering with an intake of 120 students; Mechanical Engineering with an intake of 60 students; Electrical and Computer Engineering with an intake of 60 students; Electronics and Computer Science with an intake of 60 students; Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) with an intake of 120 students; and Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) with an intake of 60 students. In addition, the Institute offers a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology [B.Sc. (IT)] programme with an intake of 60 students.
At the postgraduate level, the Institute offers a programme in Computer Engineering with an intake of 18 students. The Department of Civil Engineering offers postgraduate programmes in Construction Engineering and Management with an intake of 18 students and Structural Engineering with an intake of 24 students. These postgraduate programmes provide opportunities for advanced learning, specialised technical knowledge, research, and professional development in emerging and specialised areas of engineering.
The Department of Civil Engineering also houses a recognised Ph.D. Research Centre with an intake of 10 research scholars. The Research Centre provides a platform for advanced research, scholarly activities, and the development of innovative solutions to contemporary engineering challenges.
The School of Engineering and Technology has a total sanctioned intake of 630 students across its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, in addition to an intake of 10 research scholars in the Ph.D. Research Centre in Civil Engineering.
