The NeurOnyx Club and the AIKTC-ACM Student Chapter, in collaboration with the
Department of Computer Science & Engineering (AI & ML), organized an engaging and
competitive event titled “Clash of Context”. The event aimed to enhance students’ critical
thinking, communication skills, and adaptability through real-time argumentative and analytical
challenges. It was open to all schools, promoting wider participation and inter-institutional
interaction.
A total of 26 teams participated in the event. The session began with an introduction to the rules
and structure, followed by the commencement of the rounds.
Key Highlights of the Event:
● Debate Round: All 26 teams participated in a structured debate on technological topics
and were evaluated on content, clarity, and delivery.
● Blind Interpretation: 12 shortlisted teams were given unseen visuals to interpret on the
spot, testing their creativity and logical reasoning.
● Switch the Side: The top 4 teams competed in the final round, where they had to
instantly switch their stance and argue the opposite viewpoint, demonstrating adaptability
and presence of mind.

1st Place: Hajwani Mueez Sajjad Mehtab and Abdul Rehman Kalsekar
Runner-Up: Shaikh Farhan and Altaf Kasu
2nd Runner-Up: Naseem Kalaf Hussain Choudhary and Danish Mohd Asad Khan
The event successfully provided a platform for students to develop confidence, enhance public
speaking skills, and engage in meaningful intellectual exchange. It concluded with the
announcement of results and appreciation of all participants and organizers for their
contributions to the success of the event.
