Hacktoon 1.0 was successfully organized as a technical hackathon exclusively for first-year students from different colleges and was conducted in the college auditorium. The event aimed to promote innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving skills among participants. It received an excellent response with 305 registrations, resulting in 152 teams, out of which 30 teams were shortlisted based on the evaluation of their submitted ideas in and PPT presentations.
To make the competition more engaging, organizers introduced additional twists and feature modifications to the shortlisted project ideas, encouraging teams to enhance and refine their solutions. The selected teams presented their improved concepts before the judging panel and were evaluated based on innovation, feasibility, technical approach, teamwork, and presentation skills. The event concluded successfully with the announcement of winners and appreciation of all participants, coordinators, and volunteers for their valuable contribution to making Hacktoon 1.0 a grand success.
