Street play on “World Overdose Awareness Day”

The AIKTC School of Pharmacy celebrated World Overdose Awareness Day which was observed on August 31st to raise awareness about drug overdoses, reduce the stigma associated with substance use disorders, and commemorate those who have lost their lives due to overdoses. The students performed street play and gave a reminder of the devastating consequences of drug overdoses and the urgent need for comprehensive solutions, including prevention, treatment, and harm reduction strategies. As the world continues to grapple with this public health crisis, the collective commitment to addressing overdose awareness remains essential in saving lives and reducing the stigma associated with addiction.
