Description: A counselling session on Career opportunities and scope in Marine Engineering was organised by Dr. Atul N. Meshram, Coordinator, Alumni Connect Center (ACC), department of Mechanical Engineering under the Alumni Engagement Program. Amongst many of our distinguished Alumnus who joined the field of Marine Engineering, Mr. Duste Safwan our Mechanical Engineering pass-out student (2024 Pass-out), who joined Graduate Marine Engineering (GME) after graduation. Mr. Safwan has completed his GME course and now ready to go offshore. He was requested by Dr. Atul Meshram to come for a career counselling session on 8th Oct 2025. The session on Career opportunities and scope in Marine Engineering was scheduled for BE students, to get more insight on the Marine Engineering field. The main purpose or objective of inviting Mr. Safwan was to conduct a Session on Career opportunities and scope in Marine Engineering for our BE students and make students aware of the Marine Engineering field. The main objective of this career counselling session: 1. To make our students aware of the opportunities in the field 2. To know How to get into Marine Engineering, what are the required skills and knowledge, opportunities in Marine Engineering.
